Island Party DJ's was by far the best DJ service I have seen in my 15 years in the Navy when it comes to entertainment and a military function. Omar was very professional and sincere and had a genuine concern for our organization's event. Throughout the evening, almost every person in attendance commented on the DJ. Our cruise started at Clark's Fish Camp. We enjoyed the scenery and the trip to the Jacksonville Landing. After about 2 hours at the Landing we then returned back to Clark's Fish Camp. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset along the way. The Captain and Crew of Magic Carpet were extremely professional and great entertainers. They were great to work with - understood that it was our wedding and what we wanted is what was going to happen. Kept everyone on task to ensure the time didn't get away from us. Handled the change in location (due to the hurricane like rain) from outside to in without any problems. Island Party DJ's was wonderful! Omar played great music the entire night which got everyone dancing. We had many compliments from our guests. We left the church later then expected and the photographer wanted to take pictures right away- the sun was going down. Omar was our DJ for our wedding on September 1st at the Casa Marina Hotel. He was punctual, professional, courteous and did an outstanding job that contributed to our wedding being one of the most memorable experiences! Our entire party had a BLAST. The music was awesome and he truly took the time to create a very Festive experience for our reception. We only wished we had more time to enjoy him and the party. We are definatley booking him to host another one of our parties. On a special note: Our original DJ was in a car accident and could not host our wedding. By chance, I found Omar while looking on the internet (ONE WEEK BEFORE THE BIG DAY). He called and emailed us the NEXT day from Puerto Rico. Then, 3 days before the wedding, he even took the time to call us (because we could not meet with him in person) to and go over all of the details. Everything turned out better than we ever imagined. Omar and his staff were PHENOMINAL! I am a very "alpha" personality and Omar handled the whole wedding and rehearsal very professionally. He was great with keeping the crowd on the dance floor. I don't think there was a single moment where there was no one dancing! I HIGHLY recommend him. Also, he did a great job with the bouquet and garder tossing. When I tossed the garder, none of the groomsmen caught it. Therefore, as a punishment, we all had to do the YMCA dance for the crowd. It was hilarious! Good times had by all. Dj Omar gave a great down to earth performance with a professional atmosphere. The lighted effects and his candid personality charged the night with fun romance. We even relived our youth! Now a days when you order entertainment you get the who's who in the zoo and its just a processed fake show. The DJ was great! He had a really tough crowd to work with. The music was excellent. He did get the crowd on the dance floor and dance to the Chicken Dance. The way he did it was awesome!
